Born and raised in Pennsylvania, I relocated to Oregon in 1996 for my love of the outdoors and search for the ultimate ski mountain. I feel extremely lucky to be able to live in and enjoy such a beautiful area. One of my local favorites is to frequent one of the many farmers markets to enjoy the bounty of our local foodshed. As a cancer survivor I am always looking for super foods with antimetastatic properties. I especially like nutritional super foods that also taste great. I was drawn to mushrooms for these reasons and I encourage everyone to research the health benefits of these miraculous fungi. After much research, design and construction I am happy and proud to be able to share my gourmet mushrooms with my community.
